How do I get involved in CSR?

I am a musician & I want to be played on CSR. Is that possible?
Absolutely. We love new and upcoming music, especially hearing from musicians within the student and wider Canterbury community. Please contact the Head of Music and we’ll be in touch.

I am a local business, charity or community group. Can we be promoted on CSR?
We’re currently looking to build relationships with charities, community and student groups in the Canterbury area. You can reach our Marketing & Promotions team by using the contact form available on the Contact page.

Can anyone join CSR?
Yes. We’re open to student and community members – no prior training is not necessary and anyone can get involved. We’ll provide all the training & bits you need to get started with your radio show or podcast at our studio facility located within the Student Media Centre, just above the Venue Nightclub. I want to join CSR but I don’t want to present.
No worries. We have loads of roles behind the scenes & you can join CSR as part of our Committee – joining CSR’s Committee looks great on a CV & gets you invaluable experience within the media industry. Click here if you’re interested.

I’d like my society or someone I know to be interviewed for CSR. Is that possible?
We run free advertising for all student societies, it’s always great to hear from you. Get in touch with the Head of Specialist or Head of Marketing & they’ll sort you out.

Does CSR broadcast live on radio?
CSR is not currently on FM. We’re still here loud and proud, broadcasting online & across the University of Kent and Canterbury Christ Church University campuses.

What are the regulations regarding COVID?
As you can imagine, we’ve had to change some bits and bobs in line with current safety measures. All risk assessments and safety are up to date and are available upon request.
