I'm Robin Blamires, that's 'Blay-myerz' not 'Blumeerezz' but the phonetic pronuciation of my name stuck and as a result, Blam Jam came about.

I was born in London, moved to Canterbury and have been back and forth pretty much but most of my time spent listening to the radio and music overall was in Canterbury.

Every Sunday I combine my love of both to hopefully liven the end of a exhaustive week.

And what about the music itself?

Well this should wet your appetite, Earth Wind and Fire, Incognito, Brenda Russell, Jamiroquai, Vampire Weekend, Lemon Jelly, if those acts take your liking, there's plent more where that came from, quite a lot of it never even played on the radio before.

Features include The Wordless Wonder where I spin an instrumental track with no words (see what I did) The Kickback Track which is an extended version of a disco or dance classic from back in the day and every month I profile a newly released album with two different tracks every week.
